When the pressure of KPIs meets the relaxation of hot springs, and office vibes trade places with a pool party, you get CypressTel’s 17th Anniversary Team Building! On July 12-13, 2025, the entire CypressTel team headed to the scenic Conghua Hot Springs in Guangzhou for a special "Family Carnival," unlocking the warmth of our 17-year journey with laughter, connection, and celebration.
Work Hard, Play Harder
The trip kicked off with high spirits as the team swapped business attire for our new culture t-shirts and swimsuits. Upon arrival, we dove straight into the local flavors with a grand Cantonese feast—featuring Conghua’s famous free-range chicken and fresh river fish—fueling up for the excitement ahead.
The afternoon was dedicated to pure fun at the water park. Colleagues transformed into competitors in thrilling water games, with sales teams and R&D engineers making waves together. Even our usually serious product directors couldn't escape the water gun ambushes! The energy carried into the evening with hilariously intense music trivia battles and dialect guessing games, revealing the hidden talents and humor behind our professional armor.
A Night to Remember
As the sun set, the celebration peaked with a heartwarming birthday party. With colleagues from Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Xi’an joining via video link, we gathered around the CEO for the cake-cutting ceremony. The air was filled with the aroma of roasted lamb and BBQ, while the team danced the night away to Gangnam Style, turning the villa into a massive family reunion.
Reflections on 17 Years
The next morning, over a homemade breakfast prepared by our own "chef" colleagues, conversations flowed effortlessly from funny moments of the night before to future goals. It was a perfect reflection of the CypressTel spirit: relaxed, supportive, and driven.
From 2008 to 2025, our story has been defined by shared struggles and shared laughter. We are a team that stays up all night to secure global SD-WAN orders, yet can also let loose and turn candid photos into funny memes. We tackle complex SASE projects side-by-side and splash around in the pool without hesitation.
